构词法的三种规则
1.合成法:将两个或两个以上独立且语义不同的单词合在一起独立构成新词的方法。
合成名词:airport, afternoon,
合成形容词:kind-hearted
合成副词:however, maybe
合成代词:himself, everyone,
合成动词:overlook
2.派生法:通过在词根前面加前缀或在词根后面加后缀构成一个新词的方法。
dis- 不 disagree, dislike
en- 使……处在某种状态 enable
im-, in-: 不 impossible, impatient
inter-: 在……之间 international
mis-: 错误的 mislead
non-: 不 non-smoker,non-native
re-:再,重复 rewrite, tetell
un-: 不 unable, unhappy
3.转换法:把一种词性转化为另一种词性而词形不变的方法。
v.→ n. talk: 谈论→谈话
n→v. water: 水→浇水
adj.→ n. black: 黑色的→黑衣服
