Step1. Warm-up
1.Greet the class and revise.
T: Yesterday we learned the structure:
Have you …yet? Yes. I've already …
Have you …? No, I haven't … yet.
Now who can make sentences using the structure?
Students work in pairs.
Step2. learn 3a
1、Learn new words.
T: I am very busy recently. I have so many chores to do every day. But I am busy with my work every day. So I haven’t done most of them. I have already done…I haven’t done…yet.
2、Fast reading.
How about Grystal? What chores does she have to do? Read 3a, underline the different chores.
Teach the new words and phrases:
chop wood ,collect water from the village well,
feed the animal ,slight the fire for breakfast
Step3. 考点透析
1、get back to sb 回复某人的信、电子邮件、电话等。
Get back to somewhere 回到某地
Eg: I can’t give you a definite answer now but I’ll get back to you about it soon.
我现在不能给你一个明确的回答,但我很快会给你答复的。
2、1)、 take v. 携带,拿走某物, 伴随某人
take letters to the post 把信付邮局 take a friend home in one’s car. 用汽车送朋友回家。
2)、 take …for a walk=go for a walk with…带…去散步。
3、feed(fed fed),及物动词,饲养,喂养。
feed…on/with用……喂…… feed…to…把……喂给……
Eg: She feeds the cat with/on fish.
She feeds fish to the cat.
feed on以……为食 以……为生,多用于动物
Eg: Horses feed on grass.
4、chat v. n. 闲谈,聊天 chat with∕to sb 与某人聊天

Step4. 3b Group work
Let students read the information in it.
T: Look at the three pictures above the chart. Those times show what the three people were doing at 9: 00, at 10: 00, and so forth. It is 12:00 noon now. So the 1:00 and 2:00 times show things they will do later today.
Make sure students understand the information in the chart.Work in groups.
Step5. Make a survey (4 Group work)
Get students in some groups of three. Let students complete the work in groups. Finish the table.
Use the sentence pattens:
A: What have you done in this week?
B: I have already had a class meeting.
A: Have you had an English exam?
B: No, I haven’t had it yet.
Report: I have done my homework. But I haven't done some shopping. ...
Step6. Practice
This is the last term in Grade 9. IN high school, what have you done? What haven’t you done? And what should you do later? Please discuss in English in groups.
