(period 1)教学设计 姓名:刘畅 性别:男 职称:中学一级 学历:本科 单位:白杨林场中心学校 通讯地址:蒙城县白杨林场中心学校 电话:13956705788 电子信箱:66326836@ 邮编:233500 教材分析 本节课要求学生学会should 和 could在英语中的习惯用法。并使用这些习惯用法就自己生活、学习中存在的某些实际问题提出建议;拒绝、接受别人的建议。在学习贴近学生生活实际的语言知识的同时,特别关注学生生活和学习中的真实困难和烦恼。进一步引导学生对自我和周围世界进行比较客观的认识、评价,发展学生主动解决问题的自我意识和行为能力。发展学生与人和谐交往的能力;培养在学生交流中寻求帮助。既坚持自己观点、又听取别人建议。 教学内容 1、To learn the words and expressions about this period. 2、To talk about the problems serious or not for them in daily life. 3、To learn how to describe the problems you have or how to help others to give him or her some advice. 教学目标 (-)知识与能力 1、Knowledge aims: ① Words and expressions:serious, loud, argue, play, argument, either, out of style, keep out, call up, want sb to do sth, argue with, ② How to use should, could, shouldn’t; 2、Ability aims: Express the good ideas to solve the problems;Help others when they are in trouble. (二)过程与方法 首先谈论生活中严肃或不严肃的事情;通过听力训练和口语表达学会如何表达自己的困难,如何给别人提建议等;通过谈论表达自己对有些困难的理解,提出个人不同的建议。 (三)情感态度价值观 通过合作学习,发展学生人际交往的能力;开阔思路,寻求帮助。通过与别人交流思想,达到互相学习和拓展知识的目的。 教学重、难点 1.should /could 情态动词的用法。 2.如何提出建议。 媒体平台 1、教具学具的准备 教师应准备好白板、调查表等并设计一系列的教学课件。 学生应准备好学习用品、问题、建议调查表等。 2、多媒体课件简介 (1) 课件构想 教师可以设计一系列卡通图片,设计一个卡通小孩由于个子矮够不到篮筐并感叹:It’s so high!What should I do ? 然后请学生给出建议。‚给出一张过时衣服的图片,并同时给出“out of style”短语,旁边有一个时髦女士说:My clothes are out of style. What should I do ? 然后请学生给出建议。ƒ给出两个滑稽图片表示没有钱用了,引出enough一词,再次寻求建议,引导学生使用borrow一词。④下一张是两个人吵架的图片,引出argue with sb ,引导学生使用write sb a letter形式给出建议。⑤播放一张舞会图片,表明音乐声太大隔壁的人受不了的图片,出示“too loud、play等词,进一步引出本文的重点词汇和句型。 (2) 素材准备 教师还可以设计一份调查样表, Name Problem Advice 教学设计 任务流程 教学步骤 设计意图 Review and leading in (8’) Step 1: Free talk and leading in 1、Act your own dialogue. 2、Have a free talk with Ss. ⑴In daily life ,people often meet some problems, for example, On your way home ,you saw someone fall down from his bike . What should you say and do ? ⑵Your close friend looks pale .What should you say and do ? When we meet these problems ,what should we do ? ⑶Write a problem, make a group work to describe the advice. For example: I want to buy a new guitar but I don’t have enough money. What should I do ? 1) Wait until next year. 2) Don’t buy a guitar. 3) Borrow one from your friends. 4) Buy a used guitar. 5) Get a part –time job to save some money. 6) Join the music club. 7) Sale old things to get more money. 让学生每节课都以抽签的方式表演自己的对话,提高学习兴趣。 导出并板书课题。 引导学生给出建议并板书 Pre-task 任务前活动 (12’) Step 2:Vocabulary and Presentation 1、To learn some key vocabulary. Explain the usage of the words. serious,loud,argue,could, argument, out of style, keep out, call up. 2、Look at the pictures and guess what is the matter. Have a discussion to solve them. 利用课件展示词汇和句型引导学生学会描述问题和给出建议。 While- task任务环活动(20’) Step 3:practicing Task1:1a 1、Show the instructions to the students. 2、Point to the problems and ask a student to read the problems to the class. 3、Point out the headings in the box to the class. 4、Ask students to write the problems in the Serious or Not serious columns. 5、Talk about the answers with the class. Ask, Who put "My parents want me to stay at home every night." in the Serious column? Ask the same questions about the other items. Discuss which problems students thought were the most serious. Step 4: listening Task2:1b 1、 Point to the pictures in activity la. Ask different students to say what they see in each picture. 2、 Read the instructions to students. Say, Listen to the conversation. In the chart, circle the problems that you hear the girls talking about. 3、 Play the recording the first time. Students only listen. 4、Play the recording a second time. Students circle the problems they hear. 5、 Correct the answers. Step 5 :consolidation Task3:1c 1、Write the words“ could, should, and shouldn't on the hoard next to the chart. Read the problem to the class again and help the class give advice using the words could, should, and shouldn't. Repeat each piece of advice in your own words to help students understand it. 2、At the end of the practice say, In this unit we are going to talk about problems people have and learn how to give these people advice—to tell people what we think they should do. 3、Make a survey(show the form): Interview three of your classmates, discuss their problems and try to give advice each other. 通过活动让学生进一步巩固句型、加深记忆,为下一步活用打基础。 通过听力练习继续巩固句型,训练听力技巧。 在任务中引导学生思考could 与should的不同并精讲知识点。 最终的任务是调查同学们现有的烦恼、问题并能用所学的知识给出建议,解决实际问题。 Post- task任务后活动(4’) Step 6: summary and homework Review the grammar box.Ss say the questions and the responses.Explain the differences between could/should. Homework: 1、Go over the words. 2、My clothes are out of style , what should I do ? Please write me a letter and give me some advice. 先让学生自己总结并用多媒体呈现本节课的小结。作业:让学生帮我解决实际问题并给我写一封信。 板书设计 Unit 2 What should I do? Section A 1a-1c 1、want sb to do sth 2、enough +n; adj/adv+ enough 3、argue with sb about sth 4、out of style 5、call up 6、What’s wrong? 7、Maybe you should buy some new clothes. 教学后记 本节课主要是通过基础知识的训练,让学生更好的掌握目标语言,并运用目标语言完成任务。所以基础学习的准确性和层次性很重要。任务不能过快、过多。激发兴趣是必要的。这样才能鼓励学生用英语表达自己的思想,培养学生主动解决问题的能力。
