Step 1 Revision and warming-up
1. Play a game to guess the letters and challenge their reaction.

Write the names of the children on page S4. Then write the names in alphabetical order. Read them correctly, and complete the name list.

1.Get students to listen to the tape, and then repeat after the tape one by one. Pay attention to the pronunciation of the letters A and E.
2. List out the letter A/ei/, /œ/ on the blackboard and encourage the students to say out what other words also make the same pronunciation. Give them some tips. Present the other letters the same as the letter A. Then E/i:/, /e/.
