Talk with the students, introduce a new friend--Coco. T:When I was in Beijing.I met a funny clown. Her name is Coco.She went to so many places.Do you want to see her? 【设计意图:师生间的相互问候,还有幽默、搞怪的小丑出场,营造轻松愉快的学习氛围,为下一步的学习打下基础。】 二、 Presentation Step 1: Learn the new words and sentences: Canada snowy Where were you yesterday? I was in Canada . 1).Watch Coco’s video 2).Listen,repeat and prounce the words. 3).Play a passing game to consolidate : Where were you yesterday? I was in… The whole students clap and ask: Where were you yesterday? When the teacher stop.The student who gets the hair answer:I was in… Step 2 :Learn the new words and sentences: Thailand spicy tasty What was the food like? It was spicy and tasty. 1).Listen to Coco ’s sound recording and think. ①Where was Coco last holiday? ②What was the weather like? ③What was the food like? 2).Ask Ss answer the questions. 3). Listen,repeat and prounce the words. Step 3 : Learn the new words a: good bad yucky Throw the pictures about food. 1).What was the food like in Guangzhou? What was the food like in Beijing? What was the food like in Anhui? T:Wow ! They were tasty.They were very good. 2).bad and yucky. Let the Ss know:We know the food is precious.so please don’t waste food. Step 4:.Listen to the tape .(First.listen carefully, then listen and repeat.) 三、 Practice 1. Coco send some pastcards to the Students.Have Ss Share the postcards. ① The teacher share a postcard to the students. T: You’re so good.Coco loves you very much.So .She sent some gifts to us.Oh, postcards.Let’s see.(read the postcards) ② The students disscus the postcards in the groups. ③The students share the postcards. 2.
