2.Ask students to read the conversation in pairs, checking the correct use of ‘How much’ and ‘How many’
3.Explain the dialogue.

(2) A: I’m not 12. B: I’m not 12,either.
(3) A: He isn’t English. B: She isn’t English, either.
(4). A: You have no money. B: I have no money, either.
(5). She lives in a tall building, too.
(6) He loves Chinese food, too.
(7). She wanted to go to the USA, too.

2.Something/anything/nothing
e.g., I have something to say.

1. Ask students to substitute the food items in Part A2 with their own favorite things to eat and role-p0lay the conversation.
2. Game
Bring in some items, which are countable of uncountable. Students have to remember the items and the quantities and write them down. Then students play the game in groups. Remove the items away from the desk. Students take turns asking: How much/How many…

1.不定冠词的用法
⑴表示某人,某物的某一种
①My father is a driver.
②Do you like an apple or a pear?
⑵表示某一事物中的任何一个
①An elephant is bigger than a horse.
②A monkey can climb trees.
⑶表示某人,某物但不具体说明何人何物
①A student from Class 2 runs fast.
②A man is calling now.
⑷表数量,有“一”的含义.
①There is a flower in the vase.
②A panda has a mouth, a nose and two eyes.
⑸有些不可数名词要表示“一种”,“一场”,“一堆”时,需加不定冠词

⑴指上文提到过的人或物,用定冠词the

3. 不用冠词的情况
⑴在节日,星期,月份,季节,年,学科等词前不用冠词

⑵一些专有名词,不可数名词,称呼和头衔前不用冠词

⑶表示颜色,语种,和国家前不用冠词
