一、创设情境，切入主题
Step 1　Lead－in
Show the pictures to the students.Let them guess：

1.What is in Picture 1？How can you make it？
2.What do people collect in Picture 2？
Let the students answer the questions in class.
二、展开过程，探究新知
Step 2　Listening
Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with the correct words you hear：
1.Brian brought his________collection to school today.
2.Danny’s hobby is in a big________in the parking lot.
3.When the teacher comes back with the________，Danny is ready.
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 3　Reading
Read the passage and decide whether the following statements are true or false.
1.All the students go to help Danny carry the family tree.
2.Danny’s hobby is in a big bag.
3.Danny knows about everyone in his family.
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 4　Practice
Work in groups.Practice the text.Then present it in front of the class.When the students act，they can use their own words.
Read the text again and find more questions about this text.
