Lead-in T: Let’s play a game. Look at the numbers and say them out as quickly as you can. (one, two, three…) (first, second, third…) Step2. Presentation T: Look at the numbers and listen to the tape. Pay attention to the pronunciation of each number. Step3.Practice T: Class!Please read the ordinal numbers aloud twice. And then Let’s have a reading competition among three groups! See which group can read the best! Step4 Task T: Class! Can you read and say the ordinal numbers? Now let’s have a listening test. Let the Ss listen to 2b. Check the Ss’ answers. See how well they did. Then get to 2c. Read the listening text silently, pay attention to the drills that they didn’t understand just now. Play a game.
