Step I. Revision
Let the students look around the classroom and use “more…than, less… than, fewer… than, the most, the least, the fewest, the same as, different from, the same as”to make some sentences.
Step II. While-task
Task 1 Finish P25 A1.
1、T: Open your books at Page 25. Look at Part A1 and read through the form below.(Make sure the students know what to do next. )
2、Play the tape for the students to listen and complete the form.
3、Play the tape again and check the answers with the students.
Task 2 Free talk
Ask the students to talk about the three schools in a few words according to the lists.
Task 3 Finish P25 A2.
1、Fill in the blankets in Part A2
2、Check the answers with the students.
(同桌核对→全班核对)
3、Read the passage and point out :
have…off, in the summertime, spend time doing sth,
more/fewer/less…than, be different from
Task 4 Finish Part A3 on page 25.
1、Fill the form according to Part A1.
2、Check the answers with the students.
3、Point out: the most/fewest/least.
4、Ask the Ss to make more sentences according to Part A1
(让学生小组讨论并集中答案,而后老师组织学生在班上交流,以拓宽学生的知识面)
