Step 1- Lead in
1. To help students review the knowledge they have learned in this unit by watching some pictures.
2. Present some new words and phrases that will appear in this period through some more pictures.
Step 2- Presentation
1. Listen to the tape and complete Part A1.
2. Listen to the tape and complete Part A2.
3. Fill in the blanks in Part A 3.
Step 3- language points
Explanations to some phrases and sentence structure, and then some consolidation work;
Step 4 - Discussion
Ask students to talk about some amazing things they are interested in, using the peak-up as a model.
Step 5 Exercise
Finish the exercise in the part, hen check the answers with the whole class. Teach them the ways of doing this kind of problems .
Read two passages about the topic in this unit.
Share with the whole class.
Step6 - Homework
1. Make up a conversation with your classmate about an amazing thing.
2. Search for some information about UFO to get ready for the oral report in next period.
