Step2: Present the new words
Make a conversation with a student.
T: Excuse me,Wang Tao.Is this your pencil?
S:No ,it isn’t.
T:And is this his book?
S: No ,it isn’t .It’s hers.
T:What about the dictionary? Is this yours?
S: Yes, it’s mine.
T:Thank you for your help. And help the student say: You’re welsome.
Step3: Practice the new words
1.Read the words.
2.Spelling contest.
The teacher gives the Chinese meaning,the Ss say them in English.Which group says most ,the ywill be the winner.

1.T: Please look at the pictures in 2a. Can you say their English names?
2. Listen again and finish the conversation.
