Are those Lucy’s pens? Are these Li Lei’s pencils? Step2: Present the new words Make a conversation with a student. T: Excuse me,Wang Tao.Is this your pencil? S:No ,it isn’t. T:And is this his book? S: No ,it isn’t .It’s hers. T:What about the dictionary? Is this yours? S: Yes, it’s mine. T:Thank you for your help. And help the student say: You’re welsome. Step3: Practice the new words 1.Read the words. 2.Spelling contest. The teacher gives the Chinese meaning,the Ss say them in English.Which group says most ,the ywill be the winner. Step4: Listening 1.T: Please look at the pictures in 2a. Can you say their English names? 2. Listen again and finish the conversation. Step5: Practice the sentences pencil erasers ruler books S2 S1 S3 S4 e.g.S1: Excuse me ,S2. Is this your pencil? S2: Yes, thank you. Step6:task Give each group a task .Collect the students’ school things and put them together and let one of the students finds the owners of the things. Step7: 2d. Explain: 1.What about this book/it /singing? 2.Thank you for your help. 3.You are welcome. Step8: .Summary . One student gives a duty report. Pairwork. Ss guess the meaning of the new sentences. First read together,then read them by individually. Have a competition. First Ss say out the English names of the things in the picture, then listen and choose. Work in groups. Game: Find the owner using the sentence patterns, Sum up the knowledge points of this lesson。 Review.5 ‘ Practice.5’ ’ Learn new words.8’ Listen and write.
