（一）地位（Position）
1 前面已经介绍连词because 的用法，这一单元继续巩固。
4 本单元时态重点为现在进行时态，这个时态在7A中已经有铺垫，在这一课时教师有必要再进行一些训练。
（二）目标（Target）
1 because引导句子表示原因。
2 运用现在进行时态表示现在正在进行的动作。如：The children are playing with kites.

教学实施建议：
这一部分主要是利用课文提供的图片以及文字信息，来操练because原因状语从句。内容很简单。首先要求学生将书本图片所显示的季节和文字内容一一对应起来，表述出来就可以了。
1. 先复习四个季节，问： What are the four seasons? 引出： spring, summer, autumn and winter.继续问： What season is it now? What is the weather like? 引出：It’s …now. The weather is .. and…
2. 给学生一点时间看Look and read 部分的四幅图和对话。问：What season is it in the first/ second/ third/ fourth picture? 引出： It’s winter/ spring/ summer/ autumn in Picture1/2/3/4.
3. 请学生看Look, ask and answer。请他们看这四幅图片，说说每幅图代表什么季节及原因。
请四位同学读出他们的答案。鼓励其他学生积极说出不同的答案。
