Unit 3 Our Hobbies
Topic 1 What’s your hobby ?
教学内容分析及课时分配建议:
本话题围绕业余爱好而展开。主要内容包括:由Helen和 Wen Wei谈论空闲时间做什么引出话题--What’s your hobby ?在孩子们谈论业余爱好的过程中,引出本话题的语法知识used to do sth.和本话题的功能“喜欢和不喜欢”。本话题除了介绍常见的业余爱好。如:集邮、收藏物品、饲养宠物等还介绍了另类有趣的业余爱好。如:制作剪贴薄。还要求学生制作班级薄来培养学生的动手能力。通过学习本话题,学生能够交流有关业余爱好的信息,丰富自己的业余生活。
本话题建议用5个课时来完成:
第一课时:Section A—1a,1b,1c,1d
第二课时:Section B—1a,1b,1c,2,3
第三课时:Section A—2,3a,3b,Section B-4a,4b
第四课时:Section C—1a,1b,2,3
第五课时:Section D-Grammar and Functions,1,2,Project
第四课时(Section C—1a,1b,2,3)
教学设计思路:
本课主要继续学习used to do 句型及如何制作剪贴薄。首先让学生复习used to do并完成2的对话练习。然后教师通过实物、图片及动作来导入新词汇。随后让学生初读1a完成1b。初读只是了解大意,接着让学生精读,解决文中的知识点,完成1a。学生了解了剪贴薄的知识后依照所学来尝试设计班级薄。鼓励学生展示成果,完成3。师生回顾,完成本课时。
Ⅰ. Teaching aims

T: Right . It’s a pair of scissors. I can cut the paper into pieces. Do you know why I brought these things?

学习新词汇,为阅读扫除部分词汇障碍。
Remark: 再导入单词时,教师最好带一些实物,通过介绍实物或做动作来学习新词汇。教师还可以通过图片、构词法、反义词、近义词等来教学新词汇。如果教师能够找到有关剪贴簿的图片或实物更好,顺便介绍一下剪贴薄的历史和文化背景。

Remark:在学生读1a之前,要先让他们读1b,明确要完成的阅读任务。尽管还有些新词汇没有解决,但不会影响学生做1b 。正好可以培养学生寻找特定信息的能力。在核对答案时,可以乘机教学部分新词汇。如:title,stupid, background。
