Emotion objective Let the students learn how to write an artist. 重点 To write a description of the appearance and personality of a friend. 难点 To write a description of the appearance and personality of a friend. 教学过程设计 集 体 备 课 二 次 备 课 Step 1 Revision 1.Ask some students to stand in front of the class and ask one of the other students to describe one of them and the others must guess who we are talking about. 2.Work in groups of four ,describe one of your best friends to your group members and tell them why she or he is your best friend. Step 2Lead in Read the words that we can use to describe different people in the table in Part A on Page 16. Step 3 Presentation 1T:Daniel wrote an article about his best friend .Let’s listen to the tape . Please pay attention to the way he organizes his article. Listen and answer: (1).Who’s Daniel’s best friend? (2).When did Daniel first meet her? (3).What does she look like? (4).What’s she like? (5).would she like to be when she grows up? 2.Read Daniel’s article carefully and tell me what Daniel talks about in each paragraph. Para1: Para2: Para3: Para4: 3. Read again and try to organize your ideas when writing about your best friend. Introduction : Say who your best friend is. Main body :Describe his/her looks and personality Conclusion : Write about his/her future plans Step 4 Writing 1.T:Now it’s your turn to write an article about your best friend. 2.After writing, work in groups of four ,read each other’s articles and choose the best one. 3.Show the example and let the students check their own articles.
