1.检查预、复习
Go over some phrases such as fly a kite,and write them on the Bb
2.presentation
a.Ask a stronger student to show the following:
T: I can ride a bike. What about you? Can you ride a bike?
S：Yes, I can/ No, I can’t
　 T: I can play tennis now, but I could’t play t last year
What about you?
S: I can play it now, but I could’t play it last year. I can’t play tennis
b.Write ‘ I can play tennis now, but I could’t play it last year’ on the Bb. Mark ‘can, now, could and last year’ in red, then explain their usage.
c. Give more examples:
3 Activity
a. Practice in pairs, using the phrases on the Bb
b.Make dialogues with a student using can and could
c.Page82, Part A1
d.Finish PartA2 at Page83 alone.
Check their answers and read the dialogue in roles
4.Presentation
a.If you have too much homework to do, you can’t have spare time for games. So, can you play basketball today, boys? Why (not)？

b. When we say sth was possible,we use ‘ could’. For example, we couldn’t go skiing yesterday because we had to go to school

1.使学生了解What 和 How 构成的感叹句
2.掌握句型: What an interesting book it is! What interesting books they are!
What nice weather it is! How nice the weather is!（重点、难点）
二、教学过程
1.检查预、复习
Some exercises about ‘can’ and ‘could’ (中译英)
1）我会唱英文歌
2）他不会打羽毛球
3）我哥哥小时候不会骑自行车
4）三年前他会弹钢琴吗？
5）今晚我不能看电视了
6）昨天下雨了，所以我们不能踢足球了
2.presentation
a.取几样学习用品进行如下呈现
What a big pencil-box!
b.将what 引导的感叹句结构写在黑板上; What + adj + noun（+主语+谓语）！
让学生按照例子开展练习：
c.请学生将上面练习题的答案写在黑板上，
We can express the same meaning in another way
For example：
How short the pencil is!
请学生改写另外两个句子
呈现how 引导的感叹句结构How + adj/adv+(主语+谓语)!
3 Practice
Work in pairs完成课本85页c部分的‘work out the rule’
Check the answers together
Make some sentences using What…! and How…!
