Step 1:Warm—Up.
Play a guess game, show some famous people .compare what did they use to be.
Step 2: Aims and demands.
Tell the students what they will learn this class.
Step 3: Self –learning.
Ask the students to learn the new words by themselves, correct the pronunciation. Finish 1a.
Step 4: Listen.1b,2a,2b.
Students listen to tape, finish 1b,2a and 2b. Play the tape once more, students repeat out and check their answers.
Step 5: Pairwork.
Make conversations following the example in 1c, use the phrases in 1a.
Then practice the conversation in 2c, make similar conversations using the information in 2a and 2b.
Step 6: 2d.
Role-play the conversation in 2d.
