Teaching and Learning Goals:
Learn all the words of Unit7. Train students’abilities of listening, reading and recognizing the words on Page103. Listening to tapes, working with a group and asking the teacher for help. Let students get pronunciation right and try their best to remember the words.
Teaching and learning steps
Step I Learn to read the words on page103.
1.First, let students try to read the words using the phonetics by themselves.
2.Then read with their partners in groups.
3.Get some individual students to read and correct their pronunciations.
4.Next, let students read after the tapes. Make sure most students can read the words correctly.
5.Finally,the teacher walk around to see if they have any question.
(设计意图:让学生学会利用音标试读单词是一种学习习惯的培养,首先学生自己根据音标字读单词,并标出试读时有困难的单词。接着以小组为单位解决困难。然后找单个同学读单词,教师及时帮助学生纠正发音。最后让学生跟录音读。通过这些学习,大多数学生可以熟悉单词的读音,还可以培养学生自主学习和小组互助学习的能力。)
Step II Learn to remember the words on page103
We have many ways to remember words, and there are some good ways.
一. Remember the words by looking at pictures.
I like the banana milk shake.
It’s very delious.
The watermelon is sweet.
These sandwiches are made of bread and turkey slices.
The lettuce is green.
Turkeys are popular in western countries.
Green onions are healthy vegetables.
Do you like Beijing Duck?
The children like drinking yogurt.
I have a beautiful cup.
We should eat less salt to keep healthy.
二.Remember the words by matching itself with its meaning.

Step III Consolidation of words
1.Get the students to read the word by looking at the Chinese. Then look at the Chinese and say English.
2.Give the students a few minutes to try to memorize the words first.Thencheck if they remember all the words by working in pairs and check each other.
3.If they can’t do well ,I will ask them to open the books and read them again. Then dictate them in the exercise by themselves.Finally,I check.
(设计意图:此环节为巩固单词。通过自学和小组合作来检查单词的记忆成果。教师应及时督促、让小组长反馈检查的结果,做好跟踪检查。)
Step IV Read and translate the story
Do you know the TV program ----A Bite of China ? This program tell us many delicious food which can capture your eyes and stomachs. Now let me tell you some delicious food.
The first one is A Banana Milk Shake .Do you know how to make it ? First peel the bananas and cut up the bananas. Then put them into the blender and pour the milk into the blender. Next turn on the blender, a few minutes later, turn off the blender. Finally drink the milk shake.
The second one is The Fruit Salad . First, peel two apples、two oranges and a banana and cut them up . Then put them into a bowl. Next add two teaspoons of honey and a cup of yogurt to the bowl. Finally mix it all up.It’s OK.
Do you like popcorn?I like it very much.Let me tell you how to make popcorn? It’s very easy. First put the popcorn into the popcorn popper. Then turn on the popper, a few minutes later, turn off the popper. Next put the popcorn into the bowl ,add the salt to the bowl. Finally eat the popcorn.
I think the most delious food is sandwich.It’s easy to make it . First put the butter on a slice of bread. Then put the turkey slices on the bread. Next put the relish and the lettuce on the turkey. Finally put another slice of bread on the top.
你知道舌尖上的中国这个电视节目吗?这个节目介绍了许多美食。它不仅可以吸引你的眼球,而且可以俘获你的胃。现在我来给你介绍一些美食。
