Unit 6 I’m going to study computer science 学习目标: 1.掌握本课的重要词汇及短语:Computer programmer, engineer, doctor,  pilot,  cook, scientist, actor, basketball player, teacher, driver, pianist, violinist, grow up,  take acting lessons, study computer science, study math really hard, practice basketball every day … 2.掌握以下重要句型 A: What do you want to be when you grow up? B:I want to be an actor. A: How are you going to do that? B:I am going to take acting lessons 学习重难点: 本课出现的生词及短语: 2)运用What do you want to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that? 的句型及其答语 动词一般将来时的用法和基本结构 知识点拔:一般将来时 1、含义:表示将来某时要发生的行为动作,常与表示将来的时间状语连用,如:tomorrow ,next week,in the future等。例如:They’re going to play volleyball next week. 2、构成:be going to + 动词原形 教学过程: Step 1展现图片、学习单词及短语 Step 2 完成课本1a,对所学词汇及短语进行巩固  Step 3 师生互动,引出句型 A: I’m a teacher now. But I want to be a reporter. What do you want to be when you grow up? B: I want to be a/an ... A: How are you going to do that? B:I am going to ... Step 4学习课文的1b的听力 Step 5 仿照课本1c的形式来编对话. Step 6 学习课本2a、2b的听力 Step 7 Pairwok. A: What does he/she want to be? B: He wants to be … A: How is he/she going to do that? B:He/She is going to... C:When/Where is he/she going to...? D: Step8 Role play the conversation Read and answer the following questions: What is Ken going to be when she grows up? How is she going to do that/make her dream come true? Read it once again and find out the important language points: I know why you’re so good at writing stories. I’m going to keep on writing stories. Not everyone knows what they want to be. Just make sure you try your best. Read and recite , then fill in the blanks. A: What are you __________, Ken? K: The Old Man and the Sea _____ Hemingway. A: Wow, now I know why you’re ___________________________. K: Yes, I want ________________. A: Really? How ___________________________? K: Well, I’m going to ______________________, of course. What do you want to be? A: My parents want me to be a doctor, but I’m __________________. K: Well, don’t worry. Not _____________________________. Just ___________________.
