自读考点
1. be mad at=be angry with意思是“对某人生气”，at后也可接物，但be angry后用about才能接物。
2. anymore作副词，意思是“再；还；今后”，一般用于疑问句或否定句中，常用搭配：not… anymore，也可写成not…any more，该词强调数量和程度，而not…any longer强调时间。
3. do well in 意思是“在某方面做得好”，be good at意思是“擅长；爱好”，两者意思相同。
4. ever副词，意思是“曾经”，常用于一般疑问句中，在实义动词之前，表示“永远”，构成短语for ever。already意思是“已经”，常用于肯定陈述的句尾或肯定疑问句的句尾（表惊讶、意外）。yet意思是“还；已经”，常用于肯定的疑问句或否定句的句尾。Still意思是“至今还；现在仍然”，常用于肯定句中。
5. suppose动词，意思是“假定；认为”，常后接that引导的宾语从句。构成短语be supposed to…“被期待或被要求”。
6. luck, lucky, luckily三词分别是名词、形容词和副词。luckily同fortunately。
7. decide, decision分别是动词和名词。decide的同义短语是make up one’s mind下决心， 决定；常有下面搭配： decide to do sth.决定做某事，decide on (doing) sth. 决定（做）某事。make a decision做出决定。
8. look through意思是“浏览”；look for意思是“寻找”；look up意思是“查阅”。还有下列短语：look after照料，look back回顾，look at…看……，look down on /upon看不起，look over检查（身体），look around四处看，look forward to盼望，look out留神，小心，look like看起来像……，look the same看上去一样。
9. cross=go across意思是“横过；穿过；越过”。
10. get along = get on意思是“相处”，常有搭配get along / on well with sb.与某人相处得好。
11. feel like意为“摸上去像；感觉像”，还有“想要”之意，后接名词开动词的-ing形式，此时相当于would like to do sth.，want to do sth.。
12. hear有“听见（强调结果）”和“听说（后可跟从句）”之意。hear of / about意思是“听说；听到”，后跟名词或代词。hear from意思是“收到……来信”，hear之后不跟a letter等词，此时相当于get / receive a letter from。
