九年级Module 3 Sporting Life教学设计 Unit 1. Show a picture of Yaoming on screen, T: “Who is he?” S: “He is Liu Xiang.” T: “What does he do?” S: “He is a player.” T: “ Quite right! He is a famous basketball player in NBA. He is the proud of our Chinese. I’m one of his fans. I like sports. Do you like sports? What sports do you like? ” S: Yes, I like football./ pingpang/swimming… 2. Show another picture of various sports on screen, T: “ What sports are these?” S: Volleyball, baseball, chess, bridge… T: “Good! You can choose one of the pictures and talk about your favourite sport and favourite sport players. Now please work in pairs, you need to make up a dialogue in 2 minutes. Ready? Go!” 3. Check out their dialogue. Step Two: Discussion Read through the words in the box with the whole class, having them repeat them chorally and individually. Pay particular attention to the words where the stress doesn’t fall on the first ayllable: competition, defeat. Step Three: Listening Play the type for the students to have them listen and answer these simple questions. 1. What are Tony and Tony’s father talking about? ( baslketball) 2. What does the word BIG stand for?( Beijing International Globetrotters) 3. Is BIG been defeated by any other team in this season? (No) 4. What does Tony think their team will do in the competition?( win) While the students are listening, they’d better take some simple notes on their notebook. This can help them to get the chief meaning easily. That’s a very good skill for listening that teachers need to teach their students. Step Four: Dialogue 1. Listen and read. Ask the students to follow the conversation in their books while teacher play the tape. 2. Complete the table. Then listen again and check. 3. Complete the sentences. 4. Read the sentences form the conversation. Say who the underlined words refer to. 5. Read the dialogue again in groups, the group members can help each other to correct the pronunciations. Step Five: Grammar 1. Get the students work in pairs to find out the phrases in the dialogue. 2. Read the sentences and statements in Everyday English, and make sure everyone can understand it. 3. User: Eiro 课本中的听力材料很有必要,和新对话的话题功能是相符合的,不应舍弃:但它又有一定的难度,尤其对于我们这些薄弱校的学生是很难的.所以不必让他们每个词都懂,设立一些简单的问题,比如选择答案,判断对错,或是简单的问句.今天课上学生反映不好,下次可以把问题改简单点.
