【知识目标】
1.掌握下列单词和短语:passenger,off,trouble,hit,herself,get off,to one’s surprise,right away,get into
2.阅读短文,能按要求找到相应的信息,提高学生们的阅读能力。
3.理解并掌握下列句子:

Useful Language items

4.to one’s surprise 使某人惊奇的

5.agree 同意
(1)agree 可单独使用,表示“同意,答应”; 也可以接动词不定式或从句,表示“同意做某事”。
例如:I asked him to help me and he agreed.
我请求他帮忙,他答应了。
My mother agreed to buy me a new bike on my twelfth birthday.
妈妈同意在我十二岁生日时给我买辆新自行车。
She agreed that we could finish early.
她允许我们可以早结束。
(2)agree 后面可以接不同的介词,表示不同的意思。agree with后面通常接人或所说的话;agree to后面通常接计划、提议、安排。
例如:I agree with them.我同意他们的意见。
I agree to the plan.我同意这个计划。
6.thanks to 幸亏,由于
例如:Thanks to your help,I passed the exam.
幸亏你的帮助,我通过了考试。
7.trouble 麻烦、有麻烦、有困难
(1)trouble困难;麻烦,是不可数名词
例如:I’m sorry to give you so much trouble.
很抱歉给你带来如此多的麻烦。
(2)be in trouble 有困难;陷入困境
例如: He always asks me for help when he is in trouble.
当他陷入困境时总是向我寻求帮助。
(3)get sb.into trouble 使某人陷入困境
例如:If you come,you may get me into trouble.
如果你来,会使我陷入困境。
