--------The 10th English Festival of Nanshan Middle School Attached to Beijing Normal University
On May 10th, the 10th English Festival of Nanshan Middle School Attached to Beijing Normal University was held in the assembly hall. Students of Senior 1 and 2 performed English dramas, songs and musical in the festival. It started at 4:00 p.m with the debut of a hip-hop dancer from Senior 2. Students from Senior one and two recomposed classic English dramas: Sleeping Beauty (Class 4 Senior 1), Snow White(Class 3 Senior 1) and Little Red Riding Hood(Class 3 Senior 2) to show their all-round English abilities. Students of Class 2 Senior 1 and Class 5 senior 2 adapted Chinese stories to English dramas, which illustrated their passion and dedication to English. With their beautiful voices, wonderful singers impressed the audience with their songs and performances. All the students displayed their English talents as well as colorful school life on this stage.
It is not only a festival which facilitates the students’ ability to show their excellence in learning English, but also a festival which builds the bridge between learning English knowledge and applying English to daily life. The 10th English Festival created an opportunity to enjoy English, harvest joy and surprise.
