【教学对象】在本单元前阶段的学习中，学生对副词的构成有了初步了解，这对本课的学习有一定的帮助。
【教学重点】能正确掌握副词的构成及用法。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Warming
1、 Show some photos about pets and ask students to make sentences about them.
2、 Let the students get the meaning of “adverb” after reading 2 groups of sentences.
Step 2 Forming adverbs
1、Let the students sum up “adj. + ly = adv.” by watching some examples.
2、Ask the students write down some adverbs formed by adding “ly”.
3、Ask the students to sum up the rules of forming adverbs.
4、Help the students grasp the rules by having a game.
4、Let the students know some adjectives can be used as adverbs.
Step 3 Using adverbs
1、Have the students complete a short passage with some words, and then tell they are adverbs or adjectives.
2、Let the students sum up how to use an adjective and an adverb.
3、 Ask the students to finish some exercises on the screen.
4、 Have the students complete the passage in page 88.
5、 Let the students talk about their pets.
Step 5 Summary
1、 How to form adverbs.
2、 How to use adverbs correctly.
Step 6 Homework
Complete a short passage by using some verbs and adverbs.
