教学目标：
知识目标
1. 能正确使用下列单词和短语：fan, have a look, shelf, so many, as … as, something impotant…
2. 语法；复习基本句型
技能目标
1. 能辨别各种兴趣爱好，获取准确信息；
2. 能够自如谈论关于兴趣爱好的相关话题；
3. 能熟练地询问他人爱好，及谈论自己的爱好。
教学步骤
Step 1 Lead in
1. Free talk. Ask the students what do they like doing when they are free.
2. Guess what my hobby is and what I collect by using some objects.
3. Learn the new words and give them some time to remember the new words.
4. look at the pictures and say out the new words to check them.
Step 2. Listening
1. Listen to the tape and check what Tony, Tony’s dad and mum collect.
2. Listen again and fill in the blank.
Step 3 Reading
1. Read the dialogue between Lingling and Betty and complete the notes in Activity 3.
2. Read the dialogue by themselves and find out the words or sentences that they can’t read or understand.
3. Read after the tape.
4. Do some exercises to check if they can understand key points in the passage.
Step 4 Speaking
1. Learn what other people like doing.
2. Learn to use the simple sentences to answer the questions about hobbies.
3. Pair work. Make a dialogue like the example
4. Report what they say in the dialogue.

REPORT (example)
My hobby is watching cartoons. I like watching cartoons ，because it is very interesting and funny. I started it 10 years ago. And I watch Cartoons at least three times a week. I often watch it at home.

语法：简单句
My hobby is music.
My hobby is listening to music.
My hobby is to listen to music.
主语（名词，代词，动名词）+ 谓语（系动词）+ 表语
注：系动词主要有be 动词，感官动词和 三个变得 turn, get, become
I feed my pet every day.
I collect stamps twice a month
I play volleyball three times a week.
主语+ 谓语（及物动词）+ 宾语（名词，V+ing, to do sth）
注：及物动词是指能够直接跟名词，代词的动词。
补充：时间和地点一般放在句子的最前面或后面，作状语。
