Unit 5 Why do you like pandas?Period 1: Section A 1a1c教学目标：1、知识目标掌握表示动物的名词和描述动物的正的形容词。 2、能用英语谈论、描述至今熟悉的动物，以及表达至今对动物的喜爱并陈述原因。3、学习why引导的特殊疑问句，并能熟练的进行相应的回答。4、培养学生对动物的喜爱之情，发现他人的长处。教学重难点：重点：掌握表示动物的名词和描述动物特征的形容词。难点：能用英语谈论、描述自己熟悉的动物，以及表达自己对动物的喜爱并陈述原因。教学准备： PPT、动物的卡片。教学过程： Step1: 1、Greeting to all students. 2、Introduce myself. Step2: Lead in T: At the beginning, Ill ask you to listen to some animals voices, so from this the voice, please guess, what animal is it? OK, lets listen carefully.(Show the voices of animals.)【设计意图：通过听声音猜动物，引起学生的学习兴趣，激发他们表达的欲望，进而导入我们今天学习的动物的话题。】Step3：PresentationT: Ok, today well learn a new unit. The teacher writes the title: Unit 5 Why do you like pandas? And show the learning objectives and teaching key and difficulty,1. Animal words T: Ok, now Ill bring you to know some new friends. Do you want to try. Ss: Yes/Ok! T: Very good! Next I will show you some pictures of animals one by one, if you can read in English, so read them quickly and loudly, ok?(The teacher shows some pictures of animals. Let students read in English. According to students answer, the teacher leads them to read and remember.)2. Adjective words. Use the pictures of animals to give question. T: What do you think of panda? Ss: Its big strong and cut, yes? Ss: Yes. T: Ok, everybody please read after me.(From this method to teach adjectives, I think it can be easy. And then practice these words.) 3. Play a game. T: Ok, lets play a game, Ill give some key words about this animal, from these words, please guess what animal it is? Do you understand me? Ok, lets begin. (Show the PPT one by one, and let students guess and remember the words easily.) 4. Practice conversation T: Ok, whats your name? Do you like ? (From the teachers questions, let students practice “like”, “why” “because”, and then lead in our target language) T: Ok, everybody, today well go to the zoo? So what animal will want to see? Why do you want to see them? Now make conversations with your partner. Your conversations can be like this: A: Lets see the lions?B: Why do you want to see them?A: Because they are interesting.
