1.Greet to the students
2.Show some pictures about people.what is he/she/ doing? Show more pictures like this ,and lead Ss to answer questions using the Present Progressive Tense.
Look at the pictures in 1a, complete the chart.
Play the tape for the first time . Ss only listen.
Play the tape again. Ss finish it . then the teacher checks the answers.
1e,Use the information in the chart to make a conversation.
3a.write our own passages.Show the picture in 3a.Here is a photo of Jeff’s family. Jeff is doing his homework now ,what about his family.
Let them talk about the language points.
1.Write your own sentences with the places and activities.
2.Add some more sentences shoeing Jeff’s feelings to the letter in 3a or write a letter to describe your family.
