Ask the Ss to give a free talk. .
Ⅱ.Listening
Now, listen to the text, please answer the question “Did the robbers run away finally?”
Listen again, Ss read after the tape, and do some exercises.
Ⅲ. Reading
Ss read the articles by yourselves. Do the Exx on Page41and 42. Check the answers with class.
Language points:
1.nearby=not far away
e.g. I live nearby in the building.
