1. Work in groups of three and make up dialogues after the model.
A: Tom,I’d like you to meet my classmate Li Bin. Li Bin, this is Tom, my friend from Britain.
B: Nice to meet you, Li Bin.
A: Nice to meet you, too.
2. Listen to the dialogue and choose the best answer.
3. Group Work. Suppose one of your classmates is going to study in London. Work in groups of four and give him/ her some advice. Try to give as much advice as you can, beginning with since. Use the table cues.
4. Ask some questions about topic to check students about the reading

形式主语:
结构:It is (was ) + a. (for sb.) to do sth. ( 人与形容词没有主表关系)
为了避免句子显得头重脚轻这种现象,因此当动词不定式作主语时,往往用it作形式主语,而把真正的主语放在后面.

如果形容词能表达人的意志,品质,性格(如: good , clever, honest, nice kind, foolish等)用介词of , 为:It’s +a. + of sb. to do sth. (人与形容词有主表关系)
