Step1. Warm up the class
Do you have any special memories of junior high school?
Which teachers will you miss the most after junior high school?
Step 2 Learn new words.
Learn the new words ,first read after the teacher, then read and remember by themselves. Two minutes later, have a dictation about the ten new words
Step3. Presentation Learn the following part by PPT:
Check (√) the things you remember doing at junior high school. Add more to the list.
At junior high school, I remember:
____winning a prize ____being a volunteer
____doing a school survey ____a friend helping me with a problem
Step4: Listen to 1b and write letters from 1a above.
First let the Ss listen carefully.. Then check the answers.
Step5: Make conversations using the information in 1c.
Memories and experiences

getting a wish card in Christmas Day.
Step6: Listening 2a and 2b
Listen the first time ,try to find the answers. Listen again and check the results.
Step6:2c Practice the conversations.
After listening , make conversations using the information in 2a and 2b.
Step8 Learn 2d
First let the students read the conversation of 2d.
1. Which teachers will you miss the most after junior high school, Clara?
2. I know that Ms. Lee was always patient with you in math class. She helped you to work out the answers yourself no matter how difficult they were.
3. Mr. Brown guided me to do a lot better in science. He always took the time to explain things to me clearly whenever I couldn’t understand anything.
4. She encouraged me in English class.
5. Because of her, I put in more effort and my exam scores doubled.
