Step1 Warm-up (5 mins)
1. Sing a song Where is my car?
2. Greeting
3. Let’s chant in Page 26
4. The pronunciations of “a”, “e”, “i”.

Step2 Presentation(15mins)
1. Look and guess
T shows pictures of the dog, the box, the orange, and the body.
T: what’s this?(T points at the picture of the dog.)
Ss: It’s a dog.
……
T asks Ss other words( box, orange, body) in the same way.
2. Listen, read and summarize
①Ss look at Part1 Listen and repeat.
Ss listen to the CD for 3 times, and then repeat these words.
T guides Ss to find out the same letter “o” in each words and then pronounce it.
② T guides Ss to practice the words with the method of Phonics.
Example: dog, /d/-/ɒ/-/g/, /dɒg/. box, /b/-/ɒ/-/ks/, /bɒks/
