一、Teaching goals:
By the end of the session, most students will be able to summarize and consolidate Present simple with I , you , we , they, and talk about the school day using target language.
二、Important and difficult points :
1.Ss can master the words and expressions:busy, wash, face
2.Ss consolidate the phrases about everyday activities at school.
三、Teaching arrangements:
Step1 Warming-up
Talk about the activities in a week,
How many lesson are there on…?
When do you have English on Monday?
Do you have maths on Tuesday?
Do you like English?
What’s your favourite subject?
Step2 Presentation
Ss practice the conversation:
-- What lessons do we have in the morning?
-- We have ... .
-- What time is the ... lesson?
-- We have ... lessons at ….
-- What lessons do we have on Friday afternoon?
-- We have ... .
Step3 Filling
1.Ss complete the sentences with at,in or on in Activity 4.
2. Ss complete the sentences with the words from the box in Activity5.
3.Ss match the words in Activity2.
4. Ss talk about activities we do at school on Friday
Ss read and fill in the blanks according to the passage in Activity3.
Step4 Reading
Ss read the passage about the school day in UK , then answer the questions.
Step 5 Writing
Ss talk about their ideal school day.
Step6 Homework
1. Finish off Unit3 in the workbook.
2. Write the passage about my school day.
