设计意图

Step 1
It's Mother's Day soon. Do you know when it is? What do you usually do on Mother's Day?
Talk about the questions in small groups first, then show the ideas.
Mother's Day is the second Sunday in May.I usually buy a gift for her (cook a meal,help her do housework...)
从母亲节入手，贴近学生的生活，学生感兴趣并且有话可说。

Step 2
Mother's Day is coming .Lingling and Betty are shopping . They want to buy something for their mums.Play the tape-recorder and ask the students to listen to the recording carefully.
Listen to the tape and try to choose the right answers.
1. What is Lingling going to buy for her mother ?
A.A dress B. A T-shirt C.A coat
2. What is Betty going to make for her mother ?
A.A cake B.Aflower C. A lemon
听前做好铺垫，并结合学生的实际情况，把书上的回答问题改成了选择，降低了难度。中下等的孩子会体会到成就感。

在此环节中仍然考虑了大多数的学生，听力材料较长，所以，为了学生能够听懂文本，仍为他们设计适合他们的问题，第一段回答问题，第二段，添关键词。将教材中的填表内容，作为读后的任务。

通过两段对话的学习，设置学生感兴趣的真实情境（五一快到了，我们要去野餐，现在我们为了野餐去购物吧），学生会将今天所学的内容用到实际中，实现了学习语言的目的。

本节课是一节听说课，通过听说输入大量购物的常用语，目的是让学生如何在实际生活中使用英语去购物。为了让绝大多数学生能够听懂对话，将听的任务进行了增加和删减，这样，使中下层的孩子能够体验到学习英语的成就感，增强孩子学习英语的自信心。在输出的过程中进行了小组合作，并且进行了分层，A层表演，B层可根据所给的key sentences 完成对话，学生很积极，效果较好。不足是：学生在展示对话时，我才发现，学生的单复数的使用有点混淆，进行了及时纠正，为了弥补这一缺陷，我打算在本模块的综合语言运用课时，再进一步夯实。
