《Unit 2 Travelling》Period 3 Reading （1）
Teaching goals
1. To read a letter about Hong Kong Disneyland.
2. To expand vocabulary to talk about traveling.
3. To identify specific details by doing some exercises.
Step 1 Warming up
First, ask Ss some questions (1) Who write the letter? (2) Where did Kitty go on holiday? (3) What did Kitty like about Hong Kong Diseyland?
Step 2 Presenting
Let the Ss read while Ss follow in their books. Avoid stopping so that Ss are able to get involved in the letter as a whole.
Step 3 Practicing
1. Ask Ss to read the text silently and finish the B1 & B2.
2. Read the text after the tape. Then finish C & D
Step 4 Doing Activities
Step 5 Exercises
Complete B & C.
