A.since,till和until常用来引导时间状语从句。
Eg: Mr Brown has been in Beijing since you left..
(1) since表达“自从--以来”。一般情况下，从句谓语动词用一般过去时，而主句的谓语动词用现在完成时。
如：They have been friends since they were in primary school.他们从小学起就一直是好朋友。
【拓展】since的其他用法：
1. since后可接具体的过去的时间点，或者一段时间+ago.句子使用现在完成时态。如：
eg: The man has worked here since 2012. 自从2012年这个人一直在这里工作。
2. it is+一段时间+since+一般过去时从句
eg: It is three days since they came to shanghai.他们去上海三天了。
Eg: It is three years since his grandfather died. 他爷爷死了三年了。
B．till和until表达“到---为止”，一般情况下两者可以互换。Until可以放在句首或句中，而till只用于句中，不能用于句首。
【注意】：如果主句的谓语动词是瞬间动词时，必须用否定形式，即“not---until”结构，表达“直到---才”，如果主句中的谓语动词是延续性动词时，用肯定或否定形式都可以。如：
Eg: I didn’t go to bed until I finished my homework.
Eg: I studied until 12 o’clock last night.
c. as soon as和whenever引导的时间状语从句
(1)我们常用as soon as和whenever引导时间状语从句。如：
As soon as I arrive in Canada, I will ring you up. 我一到加拿大，就给你打电话。
(2) as soon as表达“一-----就”。如：
We began to work as soon as we got there. 我们一到那儿就开始工作。
(3) whenever表达“每当，任何时候”。如：
He likes listening to music whenever he has time.
每当他有时间的时候， 他喜欢听音乐。
【注意】whenever还可以用every time或者no matter when替换。
