一、教学类型:复习、写作
二、教材分析
1. 教材内容:Main task
2. 教材处理:本课通过谈论Millie的好恶及原因引出学生自己的好恶,从而引导学生写作。
3. 教学目标
(1) 通过设计的各种活动使学生的英语运用能力得到提高。
(2) 围绕“好恶”问题开展形式多样的教学活动,培养学生分析、表达的能力。从而逐步引导他们的写作能力。
4. 教学重点和难点
(1) 讨论Millie和他们自己的“好恶”。
(2) 通过retell引导学生写作。
三、教学设计
1. 总体思路
本节课共分三大步骤(谈论Millie的好恶, 谈论自己的好恶, 复述及写作)。三大步骤又细化为个具体的教学活动,各个活动紧扣内容,通过“讨论”“竞赛”“复述”等方式培养学生的口头表达和写作能力。
2. 教学过程
Step1. Pre-reading Activities
Activity1. Ask and answer

[设计说明] 通过师生自由对话的方式引出本课主题
Activity2. Introduce Millie to the students
Ask the students to talk about Millie’s school life.
[设计说明] 通过交谈复习、引出即将讨论的校园活动。
Step2. Presentation
Activity3. Talk about Millie’s “like” and “dislike”.
1. Ask the students to look at Millie’s happiness chart carefully, then ask :
What information can you get from the chart?
[设计说明] 让学生通过观察获取相关信息。
Millie loves lunchtime and reading club.
Millie likes morning exercises and drawing.
Millie dislikes basketball and homework.
2. Ask the students to discuss “Why does Millie love/ like/ dislike …” ask them to list the reasons as many as they can.
[设计说明] 运用“头脑风暴”,竞赛让学生不拘泥于课本,畅所欲言。
3. Ask the students to look at their books to find the reasons. Then ask the students to check the answers and read them out.
[设计说明] 表扬那些与课本答案接近的同学,同时更要表扬那些超越课本的同学。让他们的积极性得到发挥。

1.Ask the students to talk about their favourite school activities. Then draw faces like the ones in Part A.
2. Discuss the reasons, then fill in the table.
