Module 8 Around town
一、学习目标:
1、知识与技能:掌握本模块中关于地点和方位介词的词汇;能听懂指路的语句内容;搭配图和文字;能够问路与指路;能够读懂对地图的描述;读懂对一个地方的描述;能够清楚地用书面文字给别人指路。
2、情感态度:乐于参加运用英语的实践活动,乐于了解别国文化。
3、学习策略:通过听、读语言材料学会在整句话中识别理解词汇;通过练习学会归纳、总结本模块的语法现象,并进行系统的操练;能够将语言学习与实际应用结合起来;问路和指路应该有礼貌;学会看懂和使用地图。

如何用英语问路及回答?
1.问路的常用句型有:Where is the way to ...? How could I get to ...?
Do you know where ... is ? Could you tell me the way to ...?
2.指路的常用句型有:Go along … Turn right / left at the …crossing . It’s next to … It’s opposite … It’s between … and … 等。例如:
1. Where’s the pose office? 邮局在哪里?
2. Is there a bank near here? 附近有银行么?
3. Do you know the way to the airport? 你知道去机场的路怎么走么?
4. How can I go to the post office? 我怎样去邮局?
5. It’s down bridge Street on the right. 沿着大桥街走,就在右边。
6. Just go straight and turn left. 直着走,右拐就是。
7. Go down Center Street . 沿着中心大街走。.
8. Let me tell you the way to my house. 让我告诉你来我家的路。
9. Walk until the end. 走到头。
