3. Introduce sentence pattern by asking a student Do you have any good friends? What’s your best friend’s name? How did you know him/ her? I met him/ her ….

4. Let the students practice How did you know him/ her? I met him/ her ….in pairs.
5. Present my friends story and present some new words.
6. Practise the words.
Step 3. Listening and speaking
Let the students listen and practice the dialogue.
Step 4. Presentation
1. Present the sentence pattern Why don’t you do…? = Why not do…?
2. Do some exercises.
Step 5. A free talk
Introduce one of the students’ friends.
Step 6. Expand
Showing a movie on FRIENDS.
Learn and practice.
Ask and answer questions.
Practice listening.
Prepare for their listening and speaking skills.
Practise what we have learnt in this lesson and try to open their minds, encourage them to speak English.
