Section B (1a—1e) 一、【教材分析】 教 学 目 标 知识 目标 1. 学习并掌握下列词汇:degree, manager, believe in 2. 学习并掌握下列句型: 1) —What do you hope to do in the future? —I hope to get a business degree and become a manager. 2) To celebrate the end of junior high, they are having a party. 能力 目标 通过听说训练,学会以对话的方式谈论自己对未来的打算。 情感 目标 通过本课的学习,帮助学生回顾过去,展望未来,树立人生目标,并增加强为之奋斗的勇气和信心. 教学重点 Talk about what you would like to do in the future. 教学难点 To talk about what you would like to do in the future. Listening practice. Prepare a speech for your graduation. 教学方法 情景教学法;任务型教学法。 二、【教学流程】 环节 师生活动 二次备课 I. Preparation 准备 课前3分钟检查单词预习情况,教师根据学生读的状况,适当领读,帮助学生正音。 1. Free talk “自由交际” Ask and answer in pairs: A: What do you remember about your junior high school days? B: I remember … 2. Revision “复习检查” Answer the questions below: 1) What happened in Grade 7 that was special? 2) How have you changed since you started junior high school? 3)How do you think things will be different in senior high school? 4) What are your plans for next year? 5) What do you remember about Grade 8? 6) What did you use to do that you don’t do now? 7) What are you looking forward to? II. Presentation 呈现 1. Learning tasks“示标定向” (1) 学习并掌握下列词汇:degree, manager, believe in (2) 学习并掌握下列句型: 1) —What do you hope to do in the future? —I hope to get a business degree and become a manager. 2) To celebrate the end of junior high, they are having a party. 2. Leading-in“导入新课” (1)Free talk: T: What would you like to do in the future? What do you want to do in the future? What do you hope to do in the future? (2)Look at some pictures and make conversations: A: What would they like to do in the future? B: They’d like to become a doctor. A: What does he want to do in the future? B: He wants to become a singer. A: What does she hope to do in the future? B: She hopes to become an artist. A: What do you hope to do in the future? B: I hope to get a business degree and become a manager. III. Practice 操练 1. 机械操练 (Mechanical Drills) Learn to talk about what you would like to do in the future according to some pictures. Ask and answer in pairs. 2. 有意义操练 (Meaningful Drills) 1a Write about what you would like to do in the future. 1b Talk about what you hope to do in the future. A: What do you hope to do in the future? B: I hope to get a business degree and become a manager. 3. 交际性操练 (Communicative Drills) 1e Prepare a speech for your graduation. Use the questions to help you. Present your speech to your group. 1) How have you changed since you started junior high school? 2) Who has helped you most? 3) What advice have your parents given you? 4) What will you do after you graduate? 5) What are you looking forward to? IV. Consolidation 巩固 Listening practice: (1)Activity 1c: Listen to a class discussion. Check(√) the hopes you hear. Share the answers. (2)Activity 1d: Listen again. Complete the passage. Today is the students’ last class. Bob feels ______ about it and thinks Mrs. Chen’s classes have been __________. The students talk about what they want to do in the future.
