How green are you?
Teacher communicates with the students: How can we live a green life?
What can we do to protect the environment in our daily lives?
Conclusion: Protecting the environment is very important. We can help protect the environment by doing some simple things, such as turning off the tap when brushing our teeth, taking shorter showers, using both sides of the paper and recycling empty bottles.
二、自主合作---探锚
探究活动一Read the form of A1.
Pay attention to the keywords: Time, Place, Number of students, Number of questions.
Get ready for the tape.
Tell the students: The Class 1, Grade 8 students want to do a survey on their daily habits.
Teacher: Let’s listen to the conversation and finish the table in Part A1.
(活动方式:个人听—泛听—小组讨论)
探究活动二Listen to A2
1. Before listening, try to guess the answers of this part. then listen carefully
2. Listen again to check whether their answers are true or false.
3. Retell the main idea of the listening materials: Can you tell us the results of the survey.
探究活动三 Tell the students to retell the whole sentences of A2, then check the answers.
(1) Thirty-five students turn off the tap when they brush their teeth.
(2) Twenty students take showers for less than ten minutes.
(3) Forty students use both sides of the paper.
(4) Fifteen students recycle empty bottles.
(5) Forty-one students turn off the lights when they leave a room.
(6) Nine students take their own bags to the supermarket.
