Act the dialogue in Lesson 60 and sing the song together. 3. Lead in by asking and answering about their family members. ◆教学过程设计 Step 1 Presentation 1. Ask and answer in turns 1) Teacher: (To Student A) How many people are there in your family? Student A: Three. ( To Student B) What does your father do? Student B: My father is a clerk. ( To Student C) How old is your mother? Student C: My mother is 40 years old. ( To Student D) Where does your brother work? … 2) Student A: I need a pen. ( To B) What do you need? Student B: I need a pencil. Student A: ( To C) What does B need? Student C: He / She needs a pencil. … Step 2: Listen and read Play the audiotape as the students follow along in their student books. Then ask the students read after. Step 3: Act 1. Practice the dialogue by themselves. 2. Ask volunteers to act the dialogue. Step 4 Practice 1. Ask for ten volunteers, five boys and five girls to come to the front of the class. Teacher: Look! How many people are there? one, two, three… Students: Ten! Teacher: Right! (Ask the volunteers.)
