Step 1 Warm up
1.Greeting
T:Class begins!
Ss:Stand up!
T: Good morning, class.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Li.
T: Sit down, please.
2. Free talk
3. Play a game——Opposites
相反口令游戏:
Stand up, please.——Don’t stand up, Please.
Sit down, please.—— Don’t sit down, please.
Open the door, please.——Don’t Open the door, please.
…
通过这个游戏,很自然地从第一单元的学习过渡到第二单元的学习。让学生快速进入到学习英语的氛围中。
Step2: Presentation
1.借助手偶或其他实物玩具给学生发出指令,引导学生在参与游戏的过程中领会新句子的含义,引入课文主题。
T: (教师出示手偶)Look, this is my friend, Jimmy. Let’s say hello to Jimmy.
Ss: Hello/Hi, Jimmy.
T: Hello, boys and girls! I’m Jimmy! Let’s play a game, OK?
Ss: OK.
T: Do what I say quickly. Ready?
Ss: Yes.
T: Stand up./ Sit down./ open your books./ Open your pencil case…
T: And now listen, when I say “Don’t…”, it means you shouldn’t do what I say.
T:(教师继续操纵手偶说话)Don’t sit down./ Don’t stand up./ Don’t open your books.
2.通过“龟兔赛跑”的故事引入课题,吸引学生注意力,增添语言学习的直观性和趣味性。边讲故事边在黑板上配以简笔画或幻灯片。
T: Today I will tell you a story—The hare and the tortoise.
T: One day, the hare and the tortoise have a race in the forest. Look, this is the hare and this is the tortoise.“One, two, go!”The hare runs and runs and runs.
T: Now try to say and do like me: “Run, run, run!”
Ss: Run, run, run!
T: Yes. Good! But the tortoise can’t run fast. He can only move slowly. So the other animals shout to him, “Run, run, run!”
(出现其他小动物大声为乌龟加油的画面) Look, the other animals shout.
Now, say and do after me: Shout, shout, shout!
Ss: Shout, shout, shout!
T: And what do they shout?
Ss: “Run, run,run!”
新授单词run, shout
操练句子:Don’t run./ Don’t shout.
3.揭题:In the liabrary
学新单词:in, library
In the library, we shouldn’t run, we shouldn’t eat.
那么在图书馆里,我们还不能做哪些事呢?
4. 引出新单词eat
出示禁止吃东西的标志:学Don’t eat.
(eat→eat a cake, eat my cake, eat my cakes, eat your hot dog…)
Don’t eat. →Don’t eat here.(学here)
Step 3 Consolidation
1.Chant
Run, run, run, don’t run here.
Shout, shout, shout, don’t shout here.
