Australia, the largest country in Oceania, lies on the south coast of the Pacific. It covers an area of 7.6 million square kilometers. It has a population of over 10 million. Canberra,the capital of Australia,is a beautiful city. But I like Sydney.
Sydney is Australia's biggest, oldest and most exciting city and one of the great seaports of the world. It is also the nation's most popular tourist destination.
The Sydney Opera House is one of the most famous buildings in the world, although the building has been open for only about 30 years.The Sydney Opera House is as of Australia as the pyramids are of Egypt.
