> Unit 7 Will people have robots? ( Grade eight ) 教学设计方案 · Contents:   1、知识与能力: 1)to make predictions. 2)to talk about future intentions in different ways. 3)to review the structure “there be” and the usage of “be going to”. 4)to review “few、 little、 many、 much”,learn “fewer、 less、 more” and make sure the students can master the differences among them. 5)students can predict what the life will be like in the future and talk about their life experience and their dreams in the future by using target languages. 6) key words: paper  pollution, , prediction future pollute environment planet earth plant play a part 2、过程与方法: task-based approach. learning by listening, speaking, acting, cooperation. reporting, writing. encourage the students to make some creative ideas and help them to try to fulfill their ideas. 3、情感态度与价值观: 1)everybody has a dream. 2)where there is a will, there is a way. 3) work hard, pay off. 四、重点难点 1)learn more about the simple future tense. 2)the language points above. 3) target language: what do you think life will be like in 100 years? every home will have a robot. will kids go to school? no, they won’t. they’ll study at home. there will be fewer trees. 五、教学策略与教法选择     教学内容 Unit 1 will people have robots? section A 1a.1c.2c 课时 the 1st period 教学对象 the students of grade 8 设计者   一、教材内容分析 本节课是八年级上册Unit7第一课时。是在前面学习基础上对一般将来时的深入探讨。教材首先利用多媒体播放影片,激起学生学习兴趣,然后展示课程有关内容和图片,充分发挥新技术对教学的促进作用。本课时为整个单元学习打基础,所以要重点训练语言结构(will+动词原形)、in 及fewer,less,more的用法区别。本节课内容体现温故知新,举一反三,重在利用多媒体呈现相关句型和语言点,最后利用白板呈现summary帮助归纳,同时,本课的题材以机器人为内容,走在时代的前列,开拓了学生的想象思维,加深了学生对科学的热爱和学习,展现了科技的强大力量。 二、教学目标(知识与能力,情感态度与价值观) 1. knowledge aims: ⑴ words: will, pollution, environment , paper, , fewer, pollute , prediction future planet play a part ⑵conversation       A:  will people use money in 100 years? B:No, they won’t. everything will be free. A: Will people live to be 200 years old? B: Yes, they will. etc (3)the usage of fewer, less, and more. 2. ability aims: ⑴ learn to talk about what will happen in the future using the target language.⑵ learn to make predictions. 3. emotion aims: learn to study hard. 三、重点、难点 1)how to use the simple future tense and the present progressive tense correctly. 2)the usage of fewer, less, more, the differences between “in” and “after” followed by time. 四、教法选择与学法指导 本课采用情景创设法、交际法、任务型教学法。帮助学生温故知新,用多媒体展示一些生活情景引入will+动词原形表示将来的句式;由few,little,much及 many的用法掌握它们的比较级的用法。 五、资源准备 1)a computer for multimedia use.2) a tape recorder. 六、教学过程 教学任务 教师活动 学生活动 设计意图 及资源准备 organization and lead in. ( 5 min) 1.greetings. 2.free talk. 3.watch a movie about robots.--what will your life be like in 100 years? warm up, look and guess. arouse the Ss’ interests of learning and making a good atmosphere for the students’ learning. practice training the sentence patterns including will.(1a-1b) ( 12 min) 1. present the sentence patterns by changing all kinds  of  forms. 2. introduce the target language.. 3. discuss these predictions. 4) listen and check the answer listen and do the sentence changing practice, take notes. learn to master the changing of the patterns. enable the ss to learn to share the information in their groups. More  predictions (5min) 1. say your  own predictions . 2. help me say my predictions using the target language Do  the exercises and try to understand the language goal well. practice makes predictions. deal with 2a-b,2d ( 14min) 1. ask some students to talk about more about the future and express their opinions. 2.listen and check the answer. make other predictions and write them down. present and master the main points and difficult points. enable the students to use the key sentences to finish the task. summary ( 2min) 1. go over the key expressions and words. 2.revise the target language. will people have…? every home will have a robot. there will be more/less/fewer… listen and think consolidate the knowledge of this period. homework ( 2 min) 1. finish the exercises. 2.write a composition <my future day> or what will my life be like in 20 years? think and write them down. 1.strengthen the knowledge. 2. enable the students to write with the key sentences they learned. 七、板书设计 Unit7 will people have robots? 1.paper pollution prediction future environment planet 2.what will your life be like? 3.more people  fewer trees  less time
