Teaching aims and demands 教学目标 1.Learn some new words and phrases: vacation, pond, nobody, secret, friendship, knowledge, daily, and so on 2.Go on learning used to do sth. (1)—Where did you use to swim? —I used to swim in the pond in front of my house. (2)—Did you use to go swimming during the summer vacation? —No, I didn’t. (3)—What hobbies did you use to have? —Aha, it’s a secret. 3.Talk about the advantages of hobbies: (1) Hobbies can bring people happiness, friendship and knowledge. (2) They help people relax after their daily work. (3) When people are getting old, hobbies can keep them healthy. (4) When people are sick, hobbies can help them get well soon. Ⅱ. Teaching aids 教具 小黑板/录音机. Ⅲ. Five-finger Teaching Plan 五指教学方案 Step 1 Review 1.T:What bad weather ! You should wear warm clothes ,OK? Can you talk about your hobbies in the past and now ? Ask some students to talk about their hobbies. 2. (师生对话,引出used to do sth. 的疑问形式。导入新课。) T:In spring, I used to fly kites.Did you use to fly kites in spring? Ask some stuents to answer. Ask: Did you use to go swimming in summer? What did you use to do in summer? (板书) Spring Summer Fall Winter Did you use to … ? Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t. T: Look at Part 2. Work alone. Fill in the blanks.Then check the answers. Step 2 Presentation 第二步 呈现(时间:11分钟) 继续引导学生操练句型used to do sth.,呈现1a内容,然后通过听、说、读等形式巩固目标语言,训练学生听、说、读等语言技能。 1. T:Let's know about a boy's hobby. 2.Listen to 1a and read after the tape. Then read together. 3. T: Listen to 1a. Then answer the questions on the small blackboard. (1) Where did he use to go swimming? (2) Who taught him to swim? Then check the answers. 3. Read in groups. 4.Work in groups. Read and talk about the meaning of the dialog. Then find out the important sentences. in front of /in the front of teach oneself =learn by oneself teach sb. to do sth. Explain the important sentences and make up new dialogs 5. Practise 1b in pairs . (学生两人一组,用What hobbies did you use to have?/I used to …/What hobbies do you have now?等句型和1b中的词组练习对话,邀请几组学生上台表演。完成1b。) Step 3 Consolidation 1.T: As we know,everyone has hobbies,do you want to know why ? 2.Listen and answer. Listen to the tape and answer tue following questions: 1) Can hobbies help peolele relax after their daily work? 2) When people are sick, can hobbies help them get well soon? Then check the answers. 3.Read and answer. Read 3a after the tape.Then read 3a together. Answer the following questions: 1)What interesting things do people do in their spire time ? 2)Why do people have hobbies ? Step 4 Practice 通过学习,使学生对业余爱好有了较全面的了解,鼓励学生拓展自己良好的业余爱好。 1.Work in goups and solve their problems. 2.Finish 3b. Ask No.2 student to write the answers on the board.Then check the answers between the teacher and the students. 3.Explain the important language points: 1)keep pets 2) do what they like 3) get well 4.Do exercise.(课堂检测)Then check the answers. Step 5 Project Homework: 让学生用used to do sth.造句,句式不要重复,要有肯定句、否定句及各种疑问句。 板书设计: Unit 3 Topic 1 Section C What hobbies did you use to have? teach oneself = Did you use to …?
