教材简解：本单元then and now 的话题是“过去和现在”，通过对比Mike一家人过去与现在的学习、工作和生活等方面，让学生感受科技如何改变生活。本单元是在前面的基础上对一般过去时的进一步呈现，将一般过去时与一般现在时结合在一起教授，让学生能够灵活使用一般过去时和一般现在时的综合使用，这也是本单元的难点，需要重点练习。

小组合作自读课文，完成表格

根据部分提示及表格，学生小组自选小节复述课文
