Unit4 Seeing the doctor第一课时 一、 教学内容 Story time 二、教学目标 知识目标 1.在课文情景中学生能够听懂、会说、会读对话中出现的词汇:brush one’s teeth, drink water, eat sweets, have a rest, take medicine. 2.学生能够谈论看病的话题,针对不同的情境活用日常用语should和should not 给出建议。 能力目标 1.学生能正确理解Story time, 并能小组合作表演对话; 2.学生能熟练运用本单元所学的词句在不同的情境中谈论看病这一话题; 3.通过小组合作讲述故事内容,并能够添加文本内容进行文本扩充; 情感目标 1.让学生体会到阅读故事的乐趣,培养学生阅读的兴趣。 2.教育学生养成良好的生活习惯。增强体质,保持健康的身体。 三、教学重点: 1.能正确理解、掌握语篇内容,并能朗读、初步表演对话。 2.能正确地听、说、读、写词汇brush one’s teeth, drink water, eat sweets, have a rest, take some medicine. 3.能使用should和should not 给出建议。 四、教学难点: 1.能听懂、会说、会读和会写brush one’s teeth, drink water, eat sweets, have a rest, take medicine 等 2.能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型What’s wrong with---? What should ---do?及其回答。 教学准备:PPT 教学过程: Step 1. Lead-in and learning. 1. Enjoy a song. T:Let’s enjoy a song .OK? Stand up ,follow me please,and use your hands. 2. Free talk T:Do you like the song? How are you boys and girls? 3.Present a brain storm. ① T:We are fine now,but sometimes we will be not fine,such us,in spring,many people will be ill.We’ve learned some words about illness.Do you still remember?Tell me,please.If you have difficulties you can watch from the video. ② Teach the new phrases 学生说到就教,没说到就暂时不教 Step 2. Discussing and watching. 1. Think and guess T:Now ,let’s meet our friends Su Hai and Mike.How are they? Please pay attention to their face expressions . What’s the matter with them? Think and guess. Work in pairs. 2. Discuss and choose T:Now,look at Su Hai and Mike ,do you know what’s wrong with them?Please discuss and choose which room should they go in to? T: Most of you did a good job,and I think your knowledge is wide. Here’s a tip for you. If you got a cold or a fever, you should go to Room 2. 3. Watch and think T: Now ,Su Hai and Mike are in their different departments . Look, Mike is seeing a dentist. Dentists help people with their teeth. Teach“dentist” T: Su Hai and Mike are talking with their doctors .What do they get from their doctors,advice,time,price or diagnosis? Let’s watch and choose. Step3. Understanding and reading. 1. Read and underline T:What are the advice and diagnosis? Please read and try to underline. Pay attention ,you should use different ways to draw. And pay attention to should and shouldn’t. 2. Check and finish T:This time, let’s work in groups ,fours a group. Check the answers. Finish Mike’s and Su Hai’s medical records. You can do it in this way. 3. Learn the new words T: Boys and girls ,you are all very good. And these are new phrases of the unit. You can listen and learn by yourselves.(教师课前已经录音,学生听单词,有不会读的再举手问) 4. Let’s chant T:This time,let’s say a chant about all the advice. 5. Act and report T: Can you be doctors to give Mike and Su Hai advice?Act in fours . 表演前,教师指着PPT教should 和 shouldn’t 6. Read and imitate Read after the tape Pay attention to the red line(阅读停顿指导) Step 4. Production. 1. Choose and show. T: Now ,it’s time to you act. Let’s try to act. You can dub in roles or act in roles.Let me show first. I choose this way. I will choose Mike’s story. Who can be my partner? 2.Think and say T:You did a good job,class. Now I have two questions for you. First, why does Mike have a toothache? (课件示Mike…) … Do you eat too many sweets? Do you like sweets? Are your teeth OK? Do you brush your teeth before bedtime? Q2: Why does Su Hai have a headache and a fever? The next question, why does Su Hai have a fever and a headache? Can you image with your life? (课件示I think she …) T:Let’s try to keep a healthy life style. Step 5. Homework. 1.根据课文内容,完成38页“Think and write” 环节。 2.试着背一背课文。 3.和自己的组员进行角色表演。
