Step 4.Summary A: What’s your name? B: My name is ……… A: What does “…..”mean? B: It means …….. Homework: 1. Read the text and recite it. 2.Talk about names with your family. Lesson D What’s her name? Teaching aims : (1) Knowledge aims :Enable the Ss to master my, your, her, his. And always make sure every student can listen, speak, read and write. Enable the students to master the sentence “What’s your/her/his name ?”, and the answers:“My/ Her/ His name is…..” And get them to ask and answer freely.  (2) Ability aims Develop Ss’abilities of listening and speaking. Train the Ss’ability of communicate with the others in English. Train the Ss’ability of working in groups .  (3) Emotion aims Raise the Ss’ interest in listening and speaking English . Establish  confidence in learning English and learn actively by encouraging.   Teaching key and difficult points : Master my, your, her and his. Especially master her and his. And make sure every student can listen, speak, read and write. Master the sentence skillfully “What’s your/her/his name ?”, and the answers:“My/Her/His name is„”. And get them to ask and answer freely .And make sure that they can use them in real situations. Teaching aids:  Pictures, tape, recorder, cards.   Teaching process:  Step1 Warm –up and preview  1. Have greetings and free talks between T and Ss. Such as, “morning, class!”, How nice to see you again!” , “What’s your name?” and so on.  2. Sing the song and act: Follow me. T and Ss sing and act together.  Step 2.Presentation  1. Present the word:  her , his, its (1)Say and point: her book, his pencil, its head, his arm, her hair, its leg, his bag, her desk (2)Practise. Let students point to their deskmates’ things and say. This is her pencil. This is his bag. 2. Present the sentences. (1) I am new here, I don’t know your name, can you introduce yourself to me? What’s your name? My name is ……. (2) Can you introduce your deskmate to me? What’s her name? Her name is …… What’s his name? His name is… 3. Practise the sentence  (1)Show pictures and do ask and answers. What’s her name? Her name is Snow White. What’s his name? His name is Monkey King. (3) Consolidation and Practice Practice by dividing her and his. With the help of the CAI, practice the sentences.  Step 3 Text-teaching   Finish teaching “Let’s talk.” in the textbook by“Task-based”teaching method  1. Listen and finish the following exercises( T or F)   (  ) a. There are five people in it.  (  ) b. Ting Ting introduces Rose to Mr. Bright.  (  ) c. The boy’s name is summer.  2. Read and check the answers. 3. Read and act.  Homework: Let Ss read the dialogue to their parents, and use what they have learned to communicate with their family and friends. Lesson E Learning English Teaching aims: -How to learn English well? How many tips do you know? Magic box: learn English, listen to English every day, sing English songs, speak English, chant in English. Teaching difficulties: Ss can read the words correctly. Teaching aids: tape and recorder, pictures and word cards. Teaching methods: TPR, read and listen, speak. Teaching steps: step1.Warm up: 1.Greetings: Sing the song“Greetings” 2.Review:(show some pictures)-What’s her name? - Her name is Rose. - What dose Rose mean? –It means___.(then practise more: Father Christmas …etc.) Step2. Presentence:(new lesson) 1.Show a picture on the Bb and teach it, then ask: T: What dose“learn English mean? S1: It means“学英语”. T: Good. What does“learn English well”mean? S2:It means“英语学得好”. T: Wonderful! How to learn English well, do you know? What good“ tips”do you have?Who can tell me? S3: Listen to English, …etc. T: Wonderful! Anything else? Now look, here are some“tips” for you, please read after me, then stick the cards on the Bb, say and do,do and say.
