学习过程：
Warming up
1. Check the translation.
2. Groupwork: Talk about what kinds of TV shows you know and what’s your favorite program. Task One. Talk about different kinds of TV shows.
1. Make a survey.
Do you like watching TV?
Do you know other TV shows？
Then show some pictures and students learn about different kinds of TV shows.
2. A memory game. Students look at the pictures and try to remember them. Let students say what TV shows are.
3. 1a. Match the TV shows with the pictures [a-g]. Check the answers.
Task Two. Evaluate the TV shows.
1. Help students to learn to evaluate the TV shows and students try to use different kinds of faces to show whether they like the TV shows or not.
2. Listening 1b. Students listen to the tape and number the shows in the order.
3. Pairwork. Students work in pairs and talk about each TV show.

   ---I don’t mind / love / can’t stand them.
Task Three. Listen and learn about Lin Hui and Sally’s opinions about each TV show.
1. Talk about what we can learn from each TV show.
2. Listening 2a. Students listen to the recording and number the TV shows. Check the answers.
3. Listening 2b. Students listen to the recording again and complete the sentences. Check the answers and explain some difficulties.
4. 2c. Ask and answer questions about the TV shows in 2a. Use information that is true for you.
