I can…” ) Students will give many answers such as “ I can read. I can jump…” Then present the new phrases: water the flowers, clean the bedroom, cook the meals, empty the trash. 4. Listen and read. Step 3 Practice 1. Read the phrases quickly. As the same time help the students try to remember the new phrases according to their pronunciation or comparing with they have learnt before. 2. Play the tape and get the students to listen first, then practise in pairs or ask some pairs to act it out. Step 4 Consolidation Remember the phrases.
