Step I Revision
Show some exercises to check what students learnt last class
Step II Writing (1a)
Match the words with the pictures in 1a.
Check the answers. ( Call some students to give the answers.)
Explain some key vocabularies
Step III Pair work in 1b
Practice the key sentences about the weather in 1a.
Presentation.
Step IV Listening ( 2a, 2b)
Ask the students to listen 2a about Maria and Sam answer to “How’s it going?” first;
Check the answers.
Then play the recording again and answer “What are you going?” and “How’ the weather?” between Maria and Sam.
Check the answers
Repeat after the recording.
Step V Pair work
Make a short dialogue with the sentences learnt :
How’s it going? ….. What are you doing? ….
Then role play.
